AMiO 600A jump leads are designed to help start a vehicle with a flat battery. With a 4-metre length, they give you more flexibility to position the donor vehicle than shorter jump leads. The set includes one red cable for positive (+) and one black cable for negative (−) or the vehicle’s designated earth point.
We recommend the 600A version if you need a stronger set of jump leads than our 400A / 3 metre model. They are especially suitable for larger passenger cars, SUVs, vans and diesel vehicles, where starting may require more power – particularly in cold weather. The 4-metre length is also a practical advantage when the batteries cannot be positioned close together.
600A is the stated cable rating, not a guarantee that they will start every engine. Performance depends on the vehicle, the condition of both batteries, the temperature and the actual conductor construction of the cables. Always check your vehicle handbook before use. For large commercial vehicles and construction machinery, the cable specifications should be checked separately.
The two vehicles must have compatible electrical systems and the same battery voltage. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions for connection points and the correct connection sequence. Never connect the leads to a damaged or leaking battery, and stop using them if the cables or clamps become hot.
