This solution is made for newer BMW 3 Series and BMW 4 Series models on the G platform. For the BMW 3 Series, this mainly includes G20 Sedan and G21 Touring. For the BMW 4 Series, this mainly includes G22 Coupé, G23 Cabriolet and G26 Gran Coupé. If you have one of these models from 2020-2026, this is the correct dash cam type to check against your vehicle’s connector and sensor housing.
Not for older BMW E-series models. This version is not intended for older BMW E-series cars such as BMW E90, E91, E92 or E93. The E90 range belongs to the previous BMW 3 Series generation and uses a different platform from the newer G20/G21 models. If you have an older BMW 3 Series, choose a dash cam solution that is specifically matched to that model code and year range.
The dash cam draws power from the vehicle’s rain sensor area and is designed to replace the original cover behind the rear-view mirror.
