This vehicle-specific adapter cable is designed for installing compatible Carmedia24 car radios in the Fiat Ducato 2009. It connects the vehicle’s original radio wiring loom to a suitable aftermarket Carmedia24 radio and includes connections for power supply, speakers and key radio signals.

The adapter cable is supplied without a CANBUS box. A compatible CANBUS box is required for installation and must be purchased separately.

Installing a Carmedia24 radio in Fiat Ducato 2009

When replacing the original car radio in a Fiat Ducato, an adapter cable may be required to connect the vehicle’s existing wiring loom to the new radio.

This cable set is designed for compatible Carmedia24 radios and features a combined black multi-plug with ISO sections as well as additional connections for the radio installation.

The cable set includes RCA connections marked AUX IN, wires for relevant control signals and other connections. Individual functions depend on the radio used, the vehicle equipment and correct installation.

Important – CANBUS box required and not included

Installation with this adapter cable requires a compatible CANBUS box. The CANBUS box is not included and must be purchased separately.

The CANBUS box is used for communication between relevant electronic systems in the vehicle and the aftermarket radio. Depending on the vehicle equipment and the radio’s support, it may be necessary for certain functions and control signals.

Always check that the CANBUS box is compatible with both Fiat Ducato 2009 and the relevant Carmedia24 radio.

Even if another car radio has connectors that look similar to those on a Carmedia24 radio, the pin layout, wiring and electrical connections may be different.

The adapter cable should therefore only be used with a radio and CANBUS solution where compatibility has been confirmed.
