Clay Bar for Paint Decontamination

This CARMOTION clay bar is a soft, flexible detailing clay designed to safely remove bonded contamination from your car’s paintwork. It effectively lifts tar, asphalt residue, insect marks, organic fallout and embedded dirt from the surface, including contamination trapped in fine imperfections in the lacquer.

Suitable for all paint types, this clay bar is safe to use when applied correctly on a clean, well-lubricated surface. According to the manufacturer, it will not scratch or dull the finish during proper use.

How to use

Before use, prepare the surface thoroughly, ideally by washing the vehicle with car shampoo. Take a piece of clay weighing approx. 10–20 g and shape it into a flat disc. Then lubricate the paintwork with water mixed with shampoo or another clay lubricant. Gently rub the surface with the clay bar. Once the clay has collected dirt, knead the contamination into the mass, reshape it and continue using it.
