VersaChem Plastic Welder System is a strong, impact-resistant two-part adhesive based on methacrylate, developed for bonding most types of plastic. It works as a structural adhesive and can also be used to join different materials as well as metals with minimal surface preparation. The adhesive is non-sag and will not run during application.
Once cured, it forms a strong bond that resists weather, moisture and wide temperature fluctuations. With a stated bond strength of 24 N/mm², it is ideal for demanding repair and bonding jobs.
The product has a working time of approximately 3 minutes and reaches handling strength after around 15 minutes. As the adhesive contains flammable and harmful substances, it must be used with appropriate protection and in accordance with the safety instructions.
